The Arts From last week's dance party to this week's Christmas Show rehearsals, and writing and art activities to decorate our hallway and classroom, the arts are alive and well at HCA. Quotes from Santa The students imagined Santa talking to one of the reindeer, Mrs. Claus, one of the elves, or a boy or girl and then wrote a sentence that included a quote from Santa.  They illustrated their sentences and hung their work to decorate our classroom. Snowmen The Second Graders really enjoyed creating a snowman for our hallway display, and they showed their creativity by drawing patterns on the snowmen's scarves and hats.  The students observed the snowmen's differences and we discussed how our differences make each of us very unique. Dance Party At our last Community Time, all students gathered for a dance party. There were lots of smiling faces as the children showed their best dance moves. Student of the Week
