Congratulations, Mrs. Richards! The Second Graders were very excited to hear the news the Ms. Hough became Mrs. Richards over the summer.  They practiced the parts of the letter while writing a letter of congratulations to  Mrs. Richards. We are so happy for you, Mrs. Richards!                                   Check out the Second Graders song to help them remember the different parts of the letter.                                               Math Practicing addends that make 10.    The Cubes math group has been very busy writing numbers in several different ways: standard form, expanded  form, and by using a model. The Pyramids math group shows the break apart strategy used to subtract. The students met their "families" last Thursday and spent some time getting to know one another. Then they worked together to create their own shield. It was lots of fun!
